Abhirami is a graduating Exhibition Designer whose work focuses on narrative systems and audience engagement through participatory art & design research, curatorial practices, and systems design to explore human activity, emotions, and experiences. She founded the White Lines Collective, a social design inquiry to discuss the amalgamation of youth mental health narratives with visual and creative practices. She currently works as a Library Assistant at Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai, UAE.

Amogh is a fifth-semester M.Des graphic design student, with an interest in editorial design, illustration and image making, and design writing and research. He is currently working on his graduation project exploring graphic design as a mode for cultural production.

AMRUTA SUPATE

Amruta Supate is a graduating Product Designer with an inclination towards transdisciplinary design practices. One would find her engrossed in constructive conversations and running an extra mile for the work that she loves!

Her collaborations span from NGOs to Corporates. She founded OnExchange in 2018. This month, Amruta will embark on her exciting journey to study at the Royal College of Art, London.

GEETHIKA NAIR
B.Des 2017, exhibition design

Geethika R Nair, (she/her) is a final year student at the National Institute of Design Ahmedabad, specialising in Exhibition and Spatial Design. She is a media agnostic artist and is interested in intersectional feminism, scenography and critical design research. She is currently doing her graduation project on exhibiting stories of marginalised Indian women, in collaboration with an NGO 'The Indian Women's Project'. She is a Ford Fellow and a recipient of the ERASMUS+ Student Mobility Grant.

SUCHARITA BENIWAL

Sucharita Beniwal, trained as a Textile Designer and Social Designer in India. She worked for ten years in the textile industry and with craft-makers. She locates her teaching and research practice to question privilege while seeking indigenous practices & ways of knowing within the discourse of democratization of design.

TANISHKA KACHRU
faculty, exhibition design

Tanishka Kachru is a design historian, curator and senior faculty in the Exhibition design discipline at NID. Her research interests are in the areas of design histories from environmental perspectives, digital heritage interpretation and discourses of heritage in smart cities. Involved in developing the Archives at NID over the past five years, she has curated a series of exhibitions to bring visibility to the role of archives in constructing design histories.
